Andy Kushner Entertainment: Emotional Connections

Andy Kushner Entertainment takes being “green” seriously—we found creative ways to make this effort benefit brides, no matter where the venue. Our carbon footprint is diminishing by having all performers using in-ear-monitors. They are more attractive and require less power than having speakers on the front of the stage. Our lighting options are all LED which use significantly less power than traditional lighting. In the office, paper usage is minimal because AKE only sends out contracts, bills, and other wedding related documents online. Additionally, musicians in all of the AKE-owned bands enjoy direct deposit.

As a Modern Bride Top Trendsetter, Entertainment Producer Andy Kushner has earned a reputation for creating highly memorable, unique, and exceptional experiences—his philosophy for entertainment is to focus on the bride’s dream for her special day. What results is the creation of more opportunities for “once-in-a-lifetime moments.”

Andy has earned numerous honors, awards, media coverage, and requests for collaboration with industry elites—these include: BRIDE Magazine’s Disney Dream Team Fantasy Wedding, Washingtonian Bride & Groom’s Editor’s Pick 2011 and Top Vote Getter 2010, The Knot’s Best of Weddings in 2010 & 2011, and Bride’s Choice by WeddingWire.com for 2010 & 2011. Precise attention to scale, budget, and personalization are hallmarks for all of Andy Kushner Entertainment’s owned bands, musicians, DJs and other national and local acts. The goal for each wedding is to provide a seamless, interactive, engaging celebration that captivates all in attendance and exceeds expectations.

Andy believes that what makes a wedding special and memorable is the emotional connections created throughout the night from the moment your guests enter before the ceremony to the moment the last car leaves the parking lot at the end of the night. For most brides and grooms in their 20s and 30s, they and all of their friends will go to 10-20 weddings in a 2 year period.

What will make your special day stand out and be remembered by your guests over all the other affairs they will go to?
