Ethically Aesthetic = Bario Neal

Anna Bario and Page Neal introduced their two-woman operation to the Philadelphia community in the spring of 2007, and we are excited to introduce you to them as one of our exhibitors at the Mid-Atlantic Green Wedding Showcase.

A high standard of craftsmanship, a commitment to responsible materials and a focus on the details have allowed Anna & Page to create valuable pieces that support the environment while meeting their customers’ needs. They handcraft every piece to order and help clients choose from the Bario-Neal collections or work directly with clients to design a custom piece of jewelry.

Through sketches, photographs, and computer generated design, Anna & Page are able to work with clients from all over the world with a guarantee that the final design will reflect the clients' vision. Whether it is through the reuse of heirloom materials or an extensive customization process, Bario-Neal works to create meaningful jewelry with a unique perspective of beauty and a grounded effort toward socially conscious design.

Bario-Neal jewelry is handcrafted in Philadelphia with reclaimed precious metals; ethically-sourced stones; and low-impact, environmentally conscious practices. Bario-Neal promotes transparency, fair trade initiatives, and the development of third party certification systems for ethical jewelry. For the Bride and Groom

More and more we are working directly with couples to make custom designed wedding bands/engagement rings. So couples can either choose a piece from our collections or we can make something entirely new and custom. Often times, couples bring us something that has sentimental value that they would like to incorporate into the design, like a stone, an heirloom gem, or a drawing which they would like to engrave into the interior of the ring. For the actual wedding, we have done really great bridesmade's gifts with our enameled pieces, making earrings and necklace that compliment or match the wedding colors. For groomsman we have made custom cufflinks with either initials or with enamel (again working with the weddings color schemes).

Often times we have couples who bring us their grandparents or parents wedding bands/engagement rings which we remake or redesign so that the jewelry has a more contemporary feel. This is a great way to reuse resources and also save some cash.

We ask that all couples to place their orders at least 5 weeks before they need the rings. All work is handmade so we need to have enough lead time to ensure that we can make the deadline.
