On Wed February 17, the Mid-Atlantic Green Wedding Showcase was made "famous for 15 minutes" - by Washington Business Tonight and News Channel 8. Reporter Ben Eisler stopped by the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center in College Park to learn more about our event.
Ben chatted with Tracy from Creative Parties in Bethesda about her extensive line of eco-stationary. Her collection, called the Green Paper Studio offers brides & grooms 30% to 100% post consumer recycled papers for invites, thank-you's, menus and more. Even gift wrap is available as part of the line!
Event Origins provided everyone with some cool recycled cardboard furniture to relax on...
and Cheasapeake Bay Roasting Company was on hand with samples of full and medium roast coffees. Which were super delicious.
